Anne Hathaway Living On "Kale And Dust"

Anne Hathaway might have one of the world's most gorgeous bodies, but according to her she still has some way to go for her next role as Catwoman.

The 28-year-old has been on a strict diet and exercise regime to fit into her "unforgiving" Catwoman suit in the upcoming film The Dark Knight Rises.

"Right now I'm living on kale and dust," she said in an interview with Chelsea Handler last night.

The actress, who once described herself as "vaguely vegan" but has joked about splurging on burgers after red carpet appearances, might be sending the wrong message about dieting.

Following 2006's The Devil Wears Prada, Hathaway said about her diet: "I basically stuck with fruit, vegetables and fish. I wouldn't recommend that. Emily Blunt and I would clutch at each other and cry because we were so hungry."

As for exercising, Hathaway says she was never a fan of the gym but she's now become "that person" who loves working out.

When she started exercising for her role as Catwoman, she had barely any strength, telling Handler that she would be "working out next to a pregnant Jessica Alba, and she could do more push-ups than I could!”
