We Bought A Zoo
Trust director Cameron Crowe to bring you this year's feel-good flick. Based on a true story, Matt Damon plays a widowed dad who buys a rundown zoo with plans to restore it. Perfect for a lazy Boxing Day afternoon.

The Iron Lady
Meryl Streep reminds us yet again just how talented she is, seamlessly morphing into the role of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. It's not a detailed lesson in politics - too many sweeping summations - but like The Queen, it's an intimate portrait of one of history's most striking, untouchable figures.


Albert Nobbs
Yet another exceptional performance from Glenn Close, playing a woman in 19th century Ireland who must disguise herself as a man in order to survive. We can see the Oscar now...


Happy Feet Two 3D
Kids will love this one, especially in 3D, but it's lacking in the punchy lines and inside jokes that we've come to expect from animated flicks. Bring the popcorn.


War Horse
Steven Spielberg has been busy: he's featuring two Boxing Day films this year. War Horse is the adaptation of an award-winning play, with a heart-tugging tale of the bond between a boy and his horse set in World War 1.


The Adventures of Tintin
Spielberg's other flick is a beauty. This adaptation of the classic Belgian comic book is visually-stunning with a true adventure storyline that will keep you (and the kids) happy.


The Skin I Live In
You wouldn't expect less from Pedro Almodovar. Another weirdly wonderful melodrama for fans of his previous movies like Broken Embraces and Bad Education. And it's great to see Antonio Banderas back on the big screen.
