Last week I was out with my sister for lunch and a catch up when she said,
“um, how do I tell you this? I can see your undies under your leggings.”
Aah!
I’d made that mistake thinking leggings cover up all manner of sins,
including my favourite fluoro undies. Apparently not. And I’d just flashed
my neon booty all around the city!
So when I spotted Jockey’s undies with the ‘no panty line promise’ I was
definitely intrigued. I thought I’d give them a go under a tight nude
coloured dress for a work event. I popped on the flesh coloured boyleg cut
and gave them a twirl.
The fabric is light as air and the leg and waistbands are completely soft.
There’s silky strips on the lower bottom area so that the undies don’t ride
up – genius! They come up to just below the bellybutton which is a bit
Bridget Jones but after my second round of canapés that night I popped a
quick look in the mirror and to my great relief there was no muffin top! The higher waistband keeps it all tucked in while the no panty line promise
delivers just one smooth line from waist to bikini line.
So they passed the tight dress test with flying colours. I then had to test
them out under leggings and yet again there was zero VPL and they stayed put on my tush, no riding up whatsoever.
With spring around the corner these Jockeys will get quite the workout with
the myriad of weddings I have coming up and under these cute white capri
pants I haven’t dared to wear yet. Sorry hot pink knickers, but you’re not
going anywhere near them!
