There are only five dugongs on exhibit anywhere in the world and two are at Sydney Aquarium, the only place in Australia where you can see these unique sea mammals up close.

Editor Mel says: "I hit up the aquarium on the weekend (check out my pics!) and had such a great time. The dugongs really know how to put on a performance! They are such show-offs. You can have hours of fun checking out the seahorses, starfish, sharks, turtles, crocodiles and thousands of different type of fish. I'd recommend it to kids big and small!

Sydney Wildlife World: meet them, pat them, feed them!

Next door at Sydney Wildlife World, home to the world’s largest collection of all-Aussie animals, families are guaranteed the wildest day of the holidays. With more than 360 species across nine habitats, kids and parents will have the opportunity to meet, pat and feed the cuddly and crawly critters.
