Fashion Week - Fashion For Work
Like it or not, your image at work counts so you need to dress for even the most conservative manager in mind. But that does not mean you cannot dress in style.
Mix fashion with the organisational dress code
Every organisation has a dress code. Find out what yours is and live by it. If the culture is to wear a suit, then wear a suit. If the dress code is more laid back then you can dress accordingly. Mix corporate suit with the latest fashion tops and well-chosen accessories to update your look each season.
Update your look with make-up
To look professional wear make-up sparingly. Lipstick and mascara are often enough if you have great skin. Cover any blemishes with a light foundation. Go for natural looking eye makeup and blush. Wear colours that are in fashion to give you a fresh up-to-date look. Save the glossy red lipstick for a hot date.
Change your look with a new hair cut
Have you ever noticed how a new hair-style can completely change your look. Every outfit looks different when you match it with a different hair cut. For a corporate look, opt to have your hair cut just above the shoulder.
Casual dress corporate style
Casual dress day gives you another opportunity to show your personal sense of style and natural flair for fashion. But don’t use casual dress day as a licence to wear anything that you want. Opt for more conservative yet fashion-forward looks.
