A new survey has found that 1 in 4 women hate how their husbands proposed to them....so we want to know, how did your husband pop the question?

The survey by Men's Health mag in the UK found that 26% of women wish their proposal had been done in a more private and personal fashion. So, no skywriting then?

It also found that tradition is still important when proposing, with 60% believing it essential to ask the parents for the bride-to-be's hand in marriage, and 76& of men saying the proposal should be done on one knee - but only 49% of women feel the same!

As I was from Melbourne and him Sydney, I came up for the weekend, he took me to the Blue Mountains and 3 weeks after knowing him he asked me to Marry him at the look out where the 3 sisters are. I was that shocked I told him, "I had to think about it". He was so shitty he speed all the way back to his parents place and didn't talk to me until I said yes, 21 years later and 3 children still happily married.

I am happy with the way i was proposed to by my hubby .... he took me back to where we 1st kissed and had a beautiful speach ...he said with the major jitters

anyway it was all i wanted and needed:)

Ohh and he approached my parents before hand also. and they love him anyway so they were all for it

We were at Southbank, Brisbane and he proposed to me by the rivercat, on the walkway. It was a beautiful day in Brisbane. The weather was gorgeous.

my husband proposed terribly. I tell him he should repropose oneday, but he says that its done now. He got all shy and flustered and pretty much just thrust the ring at me without saying anything.
