Hilary Swank believes in fate, do you?

"I do believe in fate," said the actress. "Even when something happens that isn't that great, you have to trust the future has something else in store for you. I also believe you can change your fate by choices you make every day. A lot of people maybe feel they are destined to be something, but you can't just wait for that to happen. I believe you play an active role in your fate. I'm definitely spiritual. I wasn't baptised or christened or anything. I didn't grow up going to church but I definitely believe in a higher power."

Do you agree with Hilary? Is there such a thing as fate?

You make your own destiny from the day you are conscious enough to make choices.....simple as choosing to get out of bed or buying a lotto ticket.....
Destiny or fate is simply a consequence of a choice you make.

Here here Sandonato!!! Sometimes, I am amazed at my "luck" of being in the right or wrong place at a particular time...however, overall, life and how you live it are a bunch of tiny thoughts and choices

My outlook on life is, I was put on this earth for some reason,and sometimes when I meet people, even for a day, its not obvious why. But a few hours, days ,weeks even down the track the reason becomes clearer, why we meet and part company, sometimes to never meet again.
We are momentarily in people`s lives to make a difference, or inform them of something crucial to their current situation, or they are in our lives for the same thing. Take life as it happens, its GREAT is`nt it?

No, I could never put my life in the hands of fate. I believe in myself and this moment. I plan what I am going to do in the future in the present and then make it happen...is that fate? not for me it isn't.
