Well an amazing week. My friend Megan had Oprah over for dinner on Fri night (I thought Taco night was meant to be Mon!!!) A number of people checking in on Megan on Twitter and Facebook have come across my book which will be used to fund the purchase of Australias 1st Cyberknife cancer treatment which we will donate to an Australian hospital. I say we coz we have a number of people helping no including a cancer foundation who wish to use the funds raised to purchase this life saving equipment. Others to hop on board are
A publisher
A typesetter
A proof reader
Graphic artist
Documentary maker
Various musicians
A racing car driver and more

The book now will be out in the new yr as I have deadlines to meet now!!! Artwork for the cover is being done. The title has changed slightly.

I am disgusted that this is not in Australia yet. thousands will die this year from cancer and yet we drag our feet in introducing treatments that are available in most countries. India has a couple of hospitals offering this state of the art treatment. I read a story of a kid in India riding his bike to get Cyberknife treatment and then riding home afterward.
If not for us adults, Cyberknife should be available for the kids as its so gentle and quick.
Well done for creating such interest in this and once we get 1 I think others will come as a result (as has happened in UK - they have 5, Turkey - has 6 and Japan - has about 12)
Good luck

We have just started a page on Big Plan and getting lots of help and support – may have an editor which is awesome. We submitted a design for T shirts promoting the cancer device and to raise funds and we are planning a Charity Ball for Sydney next yr. I have been joined by a foundation, as well, whose aim is to support the introduction of Cyberknife. A lot can happen in a week.

Ash, as Ive said before, you are a hero!
-you are truly inspirational and tenacious in your quest to get cyberknife in this country, with the respect of those who have come on board, to make that journey with you. Things in life do happen for a reason.
-please know, that everything that you have and will achieve will be in essence, giving life or a second chance to many sick people, who wouldn't have had that chance because cyberknife was unavailable to them.
You will be remembered as a 'guardian angel' for your efforts in making this happen
All the best to you Ash, in all that you do

Great news. Oprah just purchased my book to read. We have been trying to get her to review it and get some exposure for the Cyberknife cancer treatment. Meanwhile we have a documentary being filmed by channel 7 and our group is gaining momentum with putting pressure on politicians, raising awareness etc.
The book is now available thru Amazon: www.amazon.com/
