Met my husband to be online. And, friendship wise met plenty of people through people I knew etc.
Its not a bad way, but you have to be open minded, as you are taking away what usually would be the first point of contact which would usually be face to face.

yessssssss my boyfriend!!! we live together and starting out lives together! its good! not scary at all. lol in fact when i saw his profile i emailed it to all my friends saying this is my next boyfriend lol. and we are both good looking successful normal people lol

Personally I haven't. But one of my friends got married last year to a guy she met on an online dating site. Another has been happily living with a guy for two years she met on Facebook via a friends pictures of friends. He contacted her and well the rest is history.

yup met my bf of 4.5 years online! and we are both normal social people who were just mucking around online with freinds! good timing

i think in person or online when you click you click and thing fall in place timing etc!

Yes. I met my "husband to be" online on a chat forum.

He is absolutely fantastic and we met in a safe, comfy place and have been together for awhile now.

yes....and i would never have met the love of my life withoutus being online the same day and him contacting me
funny how that is,and a real blessing too

we talked as friends for a month, met and have never looked back,ever

he takes my breath away,my heart beats faster when im with him and hes like my oxygen-yes i love him so
