Choose who you sit next to on a flight - would you try it?

Dutch airline KLM is introducing a new service that will allow you to choose who you sit next to, with the potential for mile high romance.

The new 'meet and seat' service allows passengers to check the Facebook or LinkedIn profiles of other flyers, when choosing their seat. So that never-ending flight to London could turn into an adventure, if seated next to that spunky lawyer in 63C.

Would you try a 'meet and seat' service?

You're on to something jenniqua. And what if you don't end up liking the person you chose to sit next to, could be awkward!

if you don't end up liking them, that's no different to if you got stuck next to an annoying person on any other flight. it gives you an option, which not everyone has to take and could provide an alternative to social networking

I'm too old so I would probably end up with more room as the only person who would want to sit next to me would be hubby.

Great idea - even if you don't want any romance, it's a good way to kill the time on a long flight.
